Capital Park

Capital Park is an urban housing complex that is inspired and reinterprets the characteristic Art Deco Style of La Condesa – the neighborhood in which it is located – modernizing it and bringing it to the present day. The project consists of 88 homes on 8 levels.

On the property where it is located there was a house cataloged by the INBA that is integrated, now in apparent concrete, to the facade of the building. Other elements of the time were used with a modern language such as the vents of the houses, the name on the buildings, the “frets” and staggered breaks in the entrances, the vertical elements and the building’s finishes.

The building is crowned with a roof garden that functions as a virtual connection between the Mexico and Spain parks that adjoin the building; in this space are located the pool, gym and living areas that amalgamate the coexistence of their neighbors and enjoy the connection with the canopy of the park’s trees.

The sidewalk is conquered with a 4-meter-deep canopy that turns it into an urban hall of the complex and provides a special comfort to that city space where passers-by can rest.
